Duplicate Files

By Sprocket ·
Is there any software out there, freeware or full use trial software, that allows a network drive to be scanned and trace multiple files with the same name.

As with most networks, ours is swapped with several copies of the same file and i want to get rid of a lot of them.

Hi,

You may want to try this

Never used the software but it is freeware. Plus I would say with a Google search you will find many. I would recommend you download a few and just play with them to see which one you would prefer.

What did you wind up using?

I found this in a google search... old emails never die!!! I work at a community college and my network drive is "above standard sizes" (I work in the IT Dept....)

Just curious what someone with some experience may have found
