I had posted this question few days back but didnt get proper solution so here again I am posting it.
I am getting an event 4319 in my event viewer whenver I restart a windows 2000 server.
This machine is a windows 2k server and the roleis webserver. I have few websites hosted on this machine, as well this machine is collocated in my ISP’s premises.
The detailed error is :
“A Duplicate name has been detected on the TCP network. The IP address of the machine that sent the message is in the data. Use nbtstat -n in a command window to see which name is in the Conflict state.”
When I use nbtstat -n command it gives the following :
Node IPaddress:[202.71.140.97] Scope ID:[]
NetBios Local Name Table
Name type Status

INet~Services <1C> GROUP Registered
This machine is not a domain controller.I am not using WINS and DHCP on this machine as well.
I tried to search on technet but didnt get proper solution.
Any help wud be appriciated…
