First off, I am noob, I understand this, but I still need help. I have a Gateway computer, Pentium 4, 250 GB hd, Windows XP, 512 MB RAM. Recently I installed an LG DVD drive with LiteScribe, a month and a half later it and my dvd drive are both not recognized. Put a disc in, no autoplay, no burning dvd’s or cd’s, go to My Computer, they are not there, go to Properties, they are not listed on my drive files. Nothing. They are plugged in, and both have power. I did a Windows Fix on it, and it deleted both my upper and lower registries, still nothing. I do not know what to do, can someone help me?
