I am a computer novice, and I am not technical on IT. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and the DVD/CD Drive is no longer available. It is not being recognized. I had a Roxio Program that was giving me a problem, when I deleted and re-installed the program I started haveing DVD/CD issues, when I installed a PowerDVD program, it the went out.
Is there anyone that can walk me through a re-instlall of my DVD/CD Drive. I can not use my recovery disc because the drive does not work or even open to load the disk.
