I upgraded to Vista Business, from XP. HP Pavilian a520n. Everything seemed fine, but DVD and CD Drives won’t work. They run, spin and the computer recognizes them. But it acts like it can not read them and locks up. Checked cables, updated drivers, even put in a new DVD burner, same problem. Even hooked up the DVD burner to the same cable as the hard drive, same problem.
Vista compatibility program did not indicate any problems like this. (Moderate Skills)
