When i copy files to a cd/dvd on a particular dell latitude d610. it works fine. when the user logs on and tries the exact same thing she gets an error that it’s an illegal function. i’ve given her admin rights on the machine, redone her network profile, reloaded drivers, reseated the drive. uninstalled & reinstalled the drive with the same results. i may have more network rights than she (she is a local admin) but if that was required then no one would be able to copy files onto their CD’s. Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated.
