DVD-R Copyright

By shahm ·
I have three kids and and a DVD player, I buy a DVD and it gets scrached and have to keep buying more. I purchased a DVD Burner but I cant burn any of my DVD's for backup so I don't have to keep buying the movies all of the time. But 90% of the freaking movies I cant burn because it says it is Copyrighted, Is there a certain burner or DVD format need to be used in order to burn a disk or am I out of luck.

Nope. You can't copy a copyrighted DVD. Besides it is cheaper to buy an original movie than to buy a blank DVD disc. Just teach them how to handle with care. There are DVD rips software, from DVD to VCD, better quality than VHS tapes, you might wantto go for that, much much cheaper.
