My dvd cd/rw stoped reading dvds but would read and write cds I changed the drive but still have the same problem. I just looked in device manager and the hdd and dvd are on the same location 0(0) I can not see were I can change anything in the bios also the primary channel reports a conflict input/output Range 03F6-03F6 used by motherboard resources in the resources tab. My system is a travelmate 2000 win xp pro 1gb ram intel celleron 2.6ghz
