I’m dealing with a customer’s Compaq 5700 series PC. For reasons that I don’t want to dive into here, I had to re-enumerate all of the customers hardware. Everything’s swell but the Compaq DVD-113 on the 2ndary IDE – when I put a CD-ROM into it and it tries to browse or autorun, it blue screens with a reference to scsi1hlp.vxd and I have to reboot.
What should I do?
