I’m puzzled. I create DVDs from videos (Digital Video Cassettes). I have finalized the DVD. It plays with NO PROBLEM on the DVD recorder I used (of course).
The problem is that my PC with a Pioneer DVR-106D drive will only SOMETIMES read these discs. Right now it is treating the disc as a blank.
The odd part is… if I reboot and leave the disc in the drive, it reads it one time and the movie will even play. But if I open the drive and close it again, it goes back to treating it as a blank disc!
Another tidbit of info that could be helpful is that prior to this I was getting an error message .. for a driver, I think… about something called “quicktracks” after downloading new software (training tracker database).
Any help is appreciated.
