E-mail not sending out to a particular d

By chonkitt ·
I have a Cisco2620 connected to the ISP with a 1M leased line. The router has been working fine for a year. Recently I can't send mail to a particular domain, ihug.com.au whereas the rest of the mail domain is normal. I have tried some troubleshooting methods like telnet to the mail server of ihug.com.au 25 (at smtp port). When this command issued in the router console, it took 5 seconds to be responsed. However, it tooks 90 seconds or more from any servers behind the router. Tracae route is identical to the servers and router. What could be wrong ?

How do you have the routing tables set up in the router (Static, rip?) Do you have your own DNS server or what do you use for name resolution? Does it work better if you enter the IP instead of the name?
