Easiest way to add printer for non-domain user

Having interns working in office. They bring in their vista laptops and need access to IP printers. Not having them join the domain

Local / IP Printer

set it up as a local printer, connected to port "IP" and create a new port on their machine with the local IP address of the printer.

Most printers will not require domain membership; when they send data to it, it will print.

Automate

I agree with oldbaritone's approach.

Do you want to automate this process? It could be tricky being non-domain computers. It might be easier just to manually config it (or manually run a script that sets it up) per laptop, depending on the amount of laptops.
