EASYRECOVERY PROBLEMS(DOS-VERSION/EMERGE

by europanorama . Updated 23 years, 7 months ago

i tried using an emergency disk of easirecovery to save a deleted partition/whole 520 mb-drive.

i already used easyrecoverys windows-version but at the first attempt deleted the wrong partition instead of the drive. i mixed up the letters. now its time to recover the real problem, the 520mb-drive but using the floppydisk.
i have prepaired and made partition on a 850mb-drive. then i used a pentium 60 with win98a and 540 mb-drive(c). the other drive are on secondary as master and slave.

when i use easyrecovery i can see the deleted files/directories. and mycomputer, i can check these all to recover them to a directory. i would like to recover them to the 850mb-drive. but its imposssible. is this because it has no windows ar because its not on the first channel. maybe the problem-drive(520 mb) should be as master on the first channel? this is the only information i have from ontracks manual. using the emergency disk if i have no more access to windows.

i will try this out. maybe faq-on ontracks site will give answers.
