Fortune3 will soon release version 7.0 of its Ecommerce & shopping cart software for professional online store creation, Ecommerce Web site building & management.
Although the current wizard software version 6.3 is a PC-based Web store builder that runs in the user’s computer, it yet uploads the online store data to a remote Web server managed by Fortune3. All the Web stores and their online shopping carts are currently hosted by the same development company.
The re-designed structure of the new version 7.0 will soon allow the release of the stand-alone version; a back end software which Ecommerce shopping cart and online store solution can be hosted in the user’s Web server. Among other new features, it will be able to exchange data via XML with any other software; an important step to integrate online sales, online payment processing, and accounting.
