Well, just after trying to edit a post I just made in this very same forum, and interestingly my original one was to complain about TR site design problems, here’s another one.
When I tried to edit my original post to correct a typo in the title, it tired to download a file called edit.json, (I assume java related). My options at that point are to Open or Save the file. Saving makes no sense, so I click Open. But alas, Win 8.1 Pro does not have an app locally installed for this.
So, rather than create this 2nd thread you’re reading now, I tried to post a comment to my existing original thread. It again wanted to download a json file, the name was something like 12564r.json or whatever – randomized probably. So in short, there’s big issues with this website and this json stuff.
I”m using IE 11 on Win 8.1 Pro when doing this, haven’t tested on Win 7 or 10 using Edge or FF or Chrome, but in either case wanted to report this weirdness.
