Edit Trigger

By jwc1410 ·
In SQL 2000, how do you EDIT a Trigger?

Creating one works fine but there doesn't seem to be a way to actually edit the code to update the Trigger.

Edit Trigger

by CGSJohnson In reply to Edit Trigger

Good morning, jwc1410. On SQL 2K, in order to edit the trigger, you have to go to the table on which the trigger exists and then right click and select "All tasks" -> "Manage triggers". A pop-up box appears allowing for the creation of a new trigger. In the drop-down box that reads "<new>", you will find any triggers that already exist on the table. Select one of them and you'll be able to edit the code in the window below. I hope that this helps. Thanks.
