Editing the maximum size of virtual disk provisioning in VMware vSphere

By daud.ndubula ·
I have a virtualized system on which windows servers are installed on the ESXi 4.0 hypervisor, now it was configured to allowed provisioning virtual disk size is only 256GB.Now the file server is running out of disk space and the overall free space is like 600GB but the file server cannot be expanded to exceed the allowed provisioned space of 256GB, is there anyway I can do to edit this size allowed for thin provisioning? Please assist.
