Editing videos taken at rock concerts on a digital camera

I would like to edit videos that i took on my digital camera at a rock concert. The sound is very badly distorted and im looking for a way to improve it. I have tried ulead video studio, adobe premiere, sony vegas and a couple of audio editing programs but nothing i do works. im not sure what it is im supposed to be editing which is half my issue. The sound is really badly distorted (obviously from the volume of the noise). If anyone has any ideas on how to improve it i would really appreciate it.
