Online students have well identified what they miss: real, direct connection with instructors, or even with fellow students. By design HyperFrame: A Framework for Multiple Members to Grow a Knowledge Base, (An unpublished experimental Knowledge Builder Server System) has built-in facilities for learners to pose Comments, Questions, even Solutions at any stage of learning after going through categorized Comments, Questions etc; posted by the previous learners and moderated by referees and an editorial board. So it is possible to recreate the interaction even in the asynchronous sessions. In some ways HyperFrame could save time and yet provide deeper insights from co-learners, multiple authors, referees and editorial board.
