Electronic In/Out Board. Anyone used one, know a good one?

We have five of us in a department over nine sites, and are looking for a way to know where each other are without constant phone/email contact.

A simple program that searches our network for our MAC address, then shows our location by using the subnet we are on would be ideal.

I have not found anything like this, anyone know of such a thing?
