Emachines Processor Upgrade

Hi All, Firstly, Thankyou in advance for any or all help, I beleive you guys (man and woman) are fantastic at helping people like me.
I have an Emachines T2862 and would like to upgrade the processor to something above 3.0GhZ. The information i can help you with are the following No.’s;
MB=Intel D845EPI/D845GVSR
Processor=MPGA478B
