email access alternatives

by epait . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

I run two separate LANS 75 miles apart. I have a remote GroupWise 5.5 email server at the other office, which users in both offices access via a TCP/IP. I am presently caught in a situation where I will lose the DSL connection including IPs while converting to another provider. Our present DSL provider has been bought out by another company and therefore have been told our connection will be cut off Aug 1 if we don’t choose to go with the new company. I checked and they are taking 25 days to convert present customers. Therefore I did some other checking and am going with Bell South ADSL which can be installed on Aug 7th. My problem is what can be done about email? Should I set up an email account (dial up)with one of those ISPs that boast about corporation secure mail? We are a CPA office and it is very important we don’t miss our email. I know it is only about 5 days, but the partners at my company are very concerned. I would appreciate any ideas for a quick temp solution.

thanks,
Rob
