Email re-routed instead of delivery

By paulng ·
Is it possible to re-route one user account's email to a destinated account instead of the recipant.
IE, User A suppose sending to B, C or D, it will never reach there, instead, all email sent to X account for monitoring.
OS is Cobalt's (Red Hat)Linux, using sendmail.

You could use the rules wizard to automatically, forward the messages based on who sent them, the subject, specific words. It allows for may options.

Good Luck.

Any questions e-mail me!

Put an alias for the user in /etc/alias on the mail machine. Point it at wherever you want the mail to be delivered. The target can be a user, another alias, or a list of users and/or aliases.

Remember you have to rebuild the hashed alias file before the change takes effect (sendmail /bi in most versions).

Good luck.
