Email recipient list limits

By daphinas ·
What would you consider a good email recipient list limit for a corporate? MS Exchange standard has a preset limit of 100 recipients per email. This can be increased, but what are the pros and cons for doing this. At what level would our server end up on a blacklist?

Finally, what alternatives are there for corporate communications that would allow internal recipients to not be included in the 100 recipient limit?

Obvious reason for limiting the number of recipients will ensure optimum use of available bandwidth. Further, it also depends on what kind of mails are exchanged, if mails contain large attachments, than may be the may be no. recipients will be further few.

I never allow more than 30.

Anything more than that goes to a listserver.

there is no reason to allow someone to send hundreds of emails like that without authorization.
