Email shutsdown when checking for emails

Hi,

I have a user that has problems with keeping his email system running on his personal computer.
Everytime he checks his emails, the program closes down. He also has a problem keeping his Internet connection on. It tends to turn itself off after only a short period of time.

Can anyone help me with this problem?
