Empty, unresponsive IE 6 pop up windows
I have been experiencing a problem with IE 6 on XP Pro that I can not seem to fix. When ever I click a link in IE that spawns a new window, the window opens but only the frame is visible. Where the content of the new page is supposed to appear, the window is "transparent" ie you can see what is behind the window. The new window stops responding at this point and will not load the content as it should. If I press the Stop button, and then the Resfresh button, the page will then load as it should. This problem occurs in all profiles on this machine. I have attempted repair by using the repair Internet explorer option in the control panel, but it did not help. I have also tried rolling back the installation and re-installing but that did not help either. I have searched MS knowledg base but have not come up with any helpful information. Any idea what may be causing this strange behavior? Any ideas on a possible fix? Thanks in advance for your help, and I look forward to your replies.
