Enabling Ports in Cisco 677 Router

Need to know how to enable ports on a cisco 677 router... can anyone help???

I am a gamer that has recently purchsed a Cisco router for DSL and cannot seem to host or ftp to alot of ports...

Have you checked the configuration to see if any ports are being filtered? If you bought this used, someone else may have configured the box to block udp and tcp ports (the 677 can filter on up to 20 different ports). Here's the cisco link to the configuration manual. The filter aspect is normally disabled, so unless a filter has been added, all ports should be available. If you have a filter, it should have a number and look like this...set filter 1 on deny tcp 23. I believe you would set filter 1 "off" to remove it. The Cisco Broadband Operating System User Guide has more specific info.
