Encrypted documents

My Windows XP Professional crushed and I managed to get the documents but the are encrypted. I get the error msg, Access Denied! How can I view these documents or if it finished?? I can not even move or copy the documents.

Bear in mind, that the XP failed to boot, I put the harddrive in a different computer. My guess is the user account was created with a password and chose to keep documents private from other users. So All I have is a folder with ecnrypted documents right now, the harddirve was formated.

As well as the user files there is also an encryption key that you need to recover but it sounds far more as if you need to take ownership of the files so you can access them and copy them away from the corrupt HDD.
