ENHANCED PRINTER PORT TO (PRINTER PORT)

by ferdie_medina . Updated 24 years, 7 months ago

How can I change the current printer setup

LPT1:(ENHANCED PRINTER PORT)
TO
LPT1:(PRINTER PORT)

The problem was: Windows can print to the OKI printer, even word star or lotus however, all CLIPPER-(DOS BASED) programs cannot.

I read an article before about this however, I misplaced the article.

It was noted that enhanced printer port setting specially on windows 95 sometimes has a conflict on the speed of transferring (buffering) data to the printer.

I just want to know the step by step procedure how can I change the ENHANCED SETTING TO STANDARD.

Thanks
