Does anyone know of a program where I can scan a line drawing, the enlarge it to the size I want in a plotter? I need this to enlarge stained glass window patterns and drawings. Thanks in advance, you folks are GREAT!!!! Steve Kerpics

Enlarging program

While you can enlarge drawings somewhat in image editors, I find the results less than optimal.

I use a CADD package called Visual CADD.
It is available from Tri-Tools, not sure of the correct web address, but there is a link at www.visualcadd.org

It comes with a program called OCR-Trace. With OCR-Trace, you scan a drawing as a tiff or bmp, and load it into the program which converts it into a cadd drawing.
Then open the drawing in the cadd program, and work with it as desired.

I think there is a downloadable demo version of Visual Cadd at www.imsisoft.com
If memory serves me correctly, their Turbo-CADD program also has a program to convert scanned images into CADD drawings.
