My firm has had a very serious problem with spyware in the last month. The rate of infection has grown exponentially and we have a small staff to try and deal with it. Two questions: are there others out there with this problem, and has anyone found an enterprise solution to eliminate spyware either before it gets in or will zap it the minute it hits a workstation?
We have been using a combination of Spybot and AdAware but it must be installed individually and the scans are time consuming and often don’t get the toughest programs. We hear that new versions of NAV and McAfee will have “spyware protection” but no details on what that means and they’re still 6 months out.
