Enterprise Solution to Spyware

By ottersmoo ·
My firm has had a very serious problem with spyware in the last month. The rate of infection has grown exponentially and we have a small staff to try and deal with it. Two questions: are there others out there with this problem, and has anyone found an enterprise solution to eliminate spyware either before it gets in or will zap it the minute it hits a workstation?

We have been using a combination of Spybot and AdAware but it must be installed individually and the scans are time consuming and often don't get the toughest programs. We hear that new versions of NAV and McAfee will have "spyware protection" but no details on what that means and they're still 6 months out.

Thanks in advance!

We use spy sweeper - it's installed on individual workstations - but can do automatic scan and disinfections -

At one time it was ADware - didn't get everything - Spy Sweeper - is cheap and works great... try the free version before you purchase.. the subscription version..

Hi Jill. Just want 2 check if u found any solution to this issue.

Ad-Aware Pro is great, you can install individually and do the definition updates by script. But still there must be a better alternative.

Pls. help.

Enterprise solution

Our firm is looking as well. So far Pest Patrol and SpySweeper have centrally administered software I also requested info from Trend Micro which has or will have an enterprise solution.

Presently we are installing spybot & adaware on individual machines on an as needed basis.

I agree it is getting to be a big problem. Look at www.eeye.com at their product line for your solution.
