Environment Variables

By gustavo_betancourt ·
I am setting up a user policy using ZenWorks 3.2. After creating the policy and profile, when the user logs in, he/she gets the following error: This utility could not add NWLANGUAGE=ENGLISH
to the local environment variables. The only way I can get rid of that error is by making the user a local administrator which is not appropriate for my environment since I work at a school and the users I am dealing with are students. Does anyone know of a way around this? Please advise.

It could be that you're having problems with your roaming profiles. Check this document:

(remove any spaces in the URL if they show up)

Thank you for the suggestion. However, I already tried the suggestions in that TID some time ago and did not help me. I deleted the profile and tried it again, but the problem still occurred. If I make the user a member of local Administrators it works, but I cannot do that since the users I am talking about are students.
