I have an EPOX 7KXA Slot A with 850 Slot A processor.
First MB I installed would not boot. I got a series of beeps. Was told by EPOX support that meant video error. Replaced MB. This one the PS/2 mouse port wouldn’t work. Replaced this damn thing again. Now I get the same video error, and I’ve stumped EPOX support. Lucky me. I’ve tried different video cards. Tried running it out of the box. Different memory. Don’t have a PCI video card to test with. Is it really the MB, or is it some component that may be conflicting. Out of the box, all I’m running is the video card, the processor, and the RAM. It did for a while go through POST. Now it won’t even do that.
