equivalent of msconfig in W2k pro

what is the equivalent of msconfig(win9 in Windows 2000 pro.

How do I view what's getting loaded at startup? Is there a way to control the programs getting loaded at startup?

Try TweakUI. One place to get it is:

http://www.windows-help.net/windows98/tweakui2000.shtml

(There are no spaces in the URL)
Despite the mention of W98, this works with 9x/2000/NT

be very careful when working in your registery

run "regedit"
then hkey local machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run

items in this field are what loads at startup

BUT BE VERY CAREFUL AND NOT DELETE THE WRONG KEY.

IT IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO BACKUP REGISTERY BEFORE YOU WORK IN IT
