Eraseing Hard Drive

When I want to cleanout or wipe off my hard drive when I sell my computer whow do I do this?

Make yourself a boot disk. Boot from it, run fdisk and remove any partitions. Then reboot and run fdisk again and create a new partition. Don't forget to make it active. Then you can reformat if you want.

Use Nortons wipedisk or ide_init.exe. either will write zeros to every sector, reformating may leave some data intact.

Either use a 3rd party utility (i.e. Norton) or create a bootdisk through control panel and when you boot off of it, run FDISK to wipe and format
