Erasing contents of IE’s autocomplete

IE’s autocomplete feature can be handy at times. But when one makes a mistake entering info, IE hangs onto that information and bugs the hell out of you by having that incorrect info pop up after that.

Where does one go to clear out IE’s ‘cache’ of all the previous information entered?

Select Tools, internet options, general tab, temporary Internet files, settings, view files to select the cookies to delete.

Also, under content, personal informartion, autocomplete, you’ll find options.

Go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/ADVANCED and unclick the “Use inline AutoComplete for web addresses” button. The next time you start IE you won’t get the auto-complete.
