I am encountering a problem with Exchange 5.5 (SP3).
Every 1 to 2 days, Outlook users report that everything disappears from
their inbox
and they are unable to restart or open Outlook. When I check the Exchange
server, all Services
show theyare running. I can resolve problem by rebooting the server (NT 4.0
/ SP4).
When I check the Event Log, I find a series of:
Event ID: 1101
Source: MSExchangeIS Private
Type: Error
Category: Background Cleaning
Description: Error 0xfffffbd3 occurred on message 1-108DE56 during a
background cleanup.
(The 1101 will repeat with about 5 different message numbers in place of the
1-108DE56).
The Event ID1101 will be surrounded by many Event ID 1023’s

Description: domain\support was validated as
Library/ou=ABC/cn=Recipipients/cn=Support but was unable to log on to
/0=library/ou=ABC/cn=Recipients/cn=Support
Also have found Event ID 7 and Event ID 4117.Before this began occurring there were no issues for the many months.
