Hello all.
I have a small business database that I built to handle all sorts of data entry from one point. Eventually we took on collection of more data and added a second data entry point on the workgroup. So I split the database and left the back end on one of the data entry machines and had the front end operating at both data entry locations with no problems. We very recently upgraded to Vista and now, since I have had to change the linked table paths on both front end files and change other permissions settings for vista to allow user access to the backend file, I cannot operate both front ends at the same time. When one front end is open the backend file is locked and no other can utilize it.
I am sure there is a very simple solution, here is to hoping that you the reader can tell me what I need to know.
