I have a MS Access 2003 application that is distributed to multiple users. One of the users is receiving an error:
Error 429: ActiveX component can’t create object in procedure
This error is vague, but I’ve been able to track it down to the ImportXML function. This is occurring on only one system and re-installing Office doesn’t seem to help. I’ve tried to manually import an XML file using File|Get External Data|Import, but that doesn’y even return an error message. It just processes the file and imports nothing.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
