When using Outlook Express I am unable to send email (o.k.to receive though). The error Code 550 appears as well a Pot 25, Secure (SSL) 0x800CCC69).
The whole message reads as follows:
An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'reception email', Account: 'mail.cgocable.ca', Server: 'smtp.cgocable.ca', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Error: Your email has a date from the past. Fix your system clock and try again.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69.
Any clues as to how to resolve this would be appreciated. Very details please because we are beginners.
Thanks

Have you figured this out? I've found that the contact Outlook item attachment I'm trying to send has a "Sent Date" in 1999. I don't know how to change this. If I resave the contact it updates the other 2 fields, but that doesn't modify the message header.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
