hi everybody,
i am doing training in a company and being assigned the job of configuring all the clients here to a DNS server.The server is windows server 2003 enterprise edition. and clients are having different os mainly xp prof.
now the problem is i have joined three clients in the domain but after that when tried the fourth one it is giving error that while joining domain “the server couldnot perform the requested operation.” i have no idea of all this as i am not in deep of networking.
but the client and server are pingig successfully to each other.
my server full name is :CCESERVER.cce.pec.ac.in
domain is: cce.pec.ac.in
and for joining to clients i m using domain name
as CCEDOMAIN which is netbios name of dns.
now when i try to join the domain that pc comes on the server aduc/computers section but show disabled.
plz tell me the way out of this problem.thanks in advanced.
