ERROR MESSAGE ON LAUNCHING IE6

WHENEVER I LAUNCH MY MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER VER 6 IT OPEN THE HOME PAGE SAY, YAHOO.COM BUT AS SOON AS IT FULL OPEN, THE ERROR MESSAGE APPEAR WHICH REQUIRE ME TO CLOSE OR RESTART MY PC. BUT WHEN CLOSING THE HOMEPAGE CLOSES ALSO. AND IF RESTARTED, NO IMPROVEMENT AT ALL.
I AM USING WINDOWS ME

Won't help you much but as a netadmin I will suggest to move from windowsme, to w2k or windowsxp.

First use the Add/Remove button to do a Reair of IE6,after completion of repair,open IE,click on the Tools menu,select Internet Optionson the General panel you will be given the option to set your home page

Dmiles is correct.. You can also find a program on the web called "IEEradicator" which will uninstall i.e. completely. just ensure you have a local copy to re-install.


And Curaco stated a norm in the industry... But surely, as ANY Network Admin will tell you... STAY AWAY from MILLENIUM lol
