On loading Winword, part of MSoffice 97, there is an error message, ‘The document could not be registered. It will not be possible to create links from other documents to the document.’ This is a Cyrix 300 processor, PC Chips M571 board, with 32 MBRAM, running Windows 95. I have reinstalled MS Office, but still get the same message. It seems to be something to do with the Normal dot template, but Word help gives little information.
