I have a Win95 OS if the computer sits idle for any length of time I get an OE error 0028 c10a773c in VXD AFVXD(01) 00001630 error and have to reboot the computer. Any ideas on what this error is?

That has to do with your Winsock Runtime Components. I would download the update from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/wuadmintools/s_wunetworkingtools/w95sockets2/default.asp?
Install them and see if that clears up the problem. You may be running Winsock 1.1 or some other old version.

This problem occurs with PCI modems and is loosely related to winsock and TCP/IP....remove and re-install Dial Up networking. Ensure you also have the latest drivers for the modem.
