Hey gang,
I’m trying to backup a SQL Server 2000 database using the Enterprise Manager. I’ve done this before without problems. For some reason, when I’m trying to back it up on Friday it gives me an error:
“Cannot open backup device ‘C:\file location’. Dvice error or device off-line. See SQL-Server error log for more details. Backup database terminating abnormally.”
Obviously, my computer can access it’s own C drive! Another database on the same service is backing up to the C drive just fine. I’ve fiddled a lil’ bit with the settings on the backup wizard without result. Can anyone help?? Please??
