Error starting WinNT 4.0 sp6a

by tperachio . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

I like to reboot my NT servers once a month, on one particular server which is used as a BDC and a file server i decided to reboot this particular server before i left for the day, at the logon screen i got the folowing errors:
1. THE PROCEDURE ENTRY POINT SmapLS COULD NOT BE LOCATED IN THE DYNAMIC LINK LIBRARY KERNEL32.DLL
2. THE PROCEDURE ENTRY POINT ReinitializeCriticalSection COULD NOT BE LOCATED IN THE DYNAMIC LINK LIBRARY KERNEL32.DLL
3. THE ORIGINAL 654 COULD NOT BE LOCATED IN THE DYNAMIC LINK LIBRARY SHELL32.DLL

HELP… the only thing i did differently was a couple of days ago i was using an evaulation copy of Sunbelts Domain Reporter and i loaded an agent on this server to capture data for NTFS reporting, i did not like the way the program was working so i deleted the agent from sunbelt’s program which it did successfully from this particular server, that was the only change that was done to this server, any help would be greatly appreciated, I can’t access any of the services on the server or it’s files.
