When opening Outlook, the following message appears: Unable to display this folder. The file C:\Documents and Settings\User3.WORKGROUP\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst could not be accessed. Data error (Cyclic redundancy check). After this appears, the following send/recieve error appears: Unknown error 80040116. Just before this, a BSOD occurred, but the user did not record the # before shutting his machine off. Any Ideas??? Thanks!

I'd first suggest checking the hard disk for errors by using the chkdsk utility. Then I'd recommend that you run scanpst.exe (utility to repair damaged .pst's). Scanpst.exe will ask you where the .pst is located, prompt for backups, then scan the .pst for errors + fix.
Sounds like the Outlook.pst was not properly closed because of the BSOD on his workstation. Try running the Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe) on his Outlook.pst file. You should be able to find the scanpst.exe file in the following location:
where LocaleID is the locale identifier (LCID) for the installation of Microsoft Office. The LCID for English - United States is 1033.
There are instructions for running scanpst.exe in the Outlook Help file, so if you have another PC running Outlook 2003, you should be able to find further info there.
