I have just built a new Windows Server 2003 R2 with service pack 2. I have the proper permissions assigned to the box and it’s been joined to the domain. When I am logged in as the domain Admin and try and install software on the machine I get the following error ” Errror: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the items.” If I am logged in as the local Admin I can browse to the network and do a run as and it works and I can also copy the software off of the network to the local machine and it installs just fine. What am I missing?
