Estimation Techniques - FPA

Where can I get a find a free download of FPA, quick FPA and other related estimation techniques. The paper should be exhaustive. One hint. It is not available at the QAI or SEI site.

IFPUG (international Function Points users group) has the Function Point Counting Manual on their website that goes over how to do a Function Point Count. It can be found at this web address: http://www.ifpug.org/home/docs/docs.html#cpm41 There are also several IFPUG certified trainers and consultants listed on their website that can also be of help in using this technique for sizing projects.

Apart from the ifpug.org site, do have a look at ifpug.com, spr.com, charismatek.com. They will have number of publications and documents (specially ifpug.com which is softwaremetrics.com by Longstreet) which will answer all your queries on IFPUG based FPA counting methodology, their strengths, weaknesses etc.

QAI conducts full fledged training on FPA counting methodology. You can approach them to get a copy.
