Eudora and Hyperlinks

By dthirlway ·
I run Eudora 6.2 and when my boss gets a hyperlink in an email he clicks on it, but it comes up with this page can not be displayed.

I check the source and the link is missing http:\\ and seems to be point to the local C:

If I forward it to another workstation it works fine and the source says http:\\

I have no idea why.

I don't know why this is happening either but I would be looking at the software load of your Boss's computer there very well could be something there that is interfering with the program and preventing it opening Web Pages. It may even be some security settings that prevent the http:// to be added to any imported Hyperlink.

You can always try the Tiny URL and see if that works any better but if you loose the http:// I would be looking seriously at the software and any security settings on his computer
